On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, the MMHS Ellevés competed in the State 5A Semi Finals Drill Team Competition held at UVU. Teams were placed in “pods” of four based on their RPI ranking. Two teams from each pod advanced to the finals. The Ellevés were one of the two teams who advanced to the finals from their pod.

Madi Goulding, Cheyenne Ortiz, and Oaklee Tingey are preps of the week from the Drill Team.
Three members of the Maple Mountain High School Drill Team were chosen to audition for the 5A All-State Drill Team. Madi Goulding, daughter of Tara and Steven Goulding; Julia Dall, Cheyenne Ortiz, daughter of Ryan and Amy Ortiz; and Oaklee Tingey, daughter of RaShel Shepherd and Ty Tingey, represented Maple Mountain at the auditions held on Thursday, November 4.
The ALC will be having an open house Feb. 7th and 8th 4:00-7:00. This is a great time for students and parents to come tour the ALC, see what we have to offer and get ready for upcoming registration.
Senior Enoch Haycock has been selected as a MMHS "Prep of the Week" for his outstanding performances as a member of the boys swim team this year. Enoch is the school record holder in the 200 IM and the 100M Butterfly. Records that he has set recently. Enoch is a team leader who works extremely hard and also enjoys the sport of water polo. Congratulations Enoch on your success and good luck on your upcoming region and state meets!
On February 21st the MMHS DECA club competed at our annual regional competition. The competition was held at BYU. Those who attended the competition were Madisen Millard, Keslee Van Orman, and Austin Willson.

The Maple Mountain High School Ellevés competed at the Region 9 Drill Team Competition held at Salem Hills High School on Thursday, January 20, 2022. The Ellevés placed 2nd in the Military category; 2nd in the Dance category, and 2nd in the Show category. Overall, the Ellevés placed 2nd in Region 9.
Three Ellevés placed in the drill down. Camdyn Marker placed 3rd; Rylee Bingham placed 2nd; and Alexis Hill placed 1st.
