Morgan Honsvick has been selected as a Maple Mountain "Prep Athlete " of the week for her outstanding performances this spring in the sport of track and field.  Morgan, who participates in the shot put and the discus throw, had an outstanding region meet and also took her efforts a little higher by winning the state championship in the shot put with a throw of 36'9".  Morgan was also a state champion in girls wrestling two years ago.  Morgan is also an outstanding student currently carrying a perfect 4.0 grade point average.  Congratulations Morgan and goo

Prep of the week - Kaylie Tracy

Senior Kaylie Tracy has been selected as a Maple Mountain high school "Prep athlete of the Week" for her outstanding play for the girls basketball team.  Kaylie plays the forward position and is known as an excellent perimeter shooter.  Kaylie  is an outstanding student who carries a 4.0 grade point average.  She is a member of the National Honor society and also is actively involved in the "Especially for Athletes" student athlete service program.  Congratulations Kaylie and good luck the rest of the way!

Prep of the Week - Miriam Kelly

Miriam Kelly has been selected as a Maple Mountain student athlete "Prep of the Week" in the sport of girls swimming.  Miriam is a senior team captain who has been swimming for 4 years. Her best events are the 500 free, 100 fly and the 100 backstroke.  Miriam is a great motivator and leader who always bring her A game to practice and meets.  Miriam is also an outstanding student currently carrying a perfect 4.0 grade point average.  Congratulations Miriam!

Prep of the Week - Josh Biesinger

Josh Biesinger has been selected as a Maple Mountain High student athlete "Prep of the Week" for his outstanding performances as a member of the wrestling team this year.  Josh has a record of 38-12 at this point and will look to be a strong contender at the upcoming divisional and state wrestling tournaments.  Josh is wrestling in the 190 pound category.  Josh has also been a member of the football team where he excelled as a linebacker.  As an outstanding student, Josh has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA for four years which has earned him the prestigious "

Prep of the Week - Gracie Keisel

Gracie Keisel has been selected as a Maple Mountain High School "Prep Athlete of the Week for her outstanding play as a member of the volleyball team.  Gracie is an outside hitter who has close to 180 kills and 25 aces along with 11 blocks.  Gracie's team is sitting at 15-2 along with an undefeated record in region play with one game left.  Gracie is a great leader and teammate. Her hard work, enthusiasm, and example rubs off on all of the players in the Maple Mountain program.  Gracie also plans on participating on the track and field team

Prep of the Week - Grace Knudsen

Congratulations to Grace Knudsen on being selected as a Maple Mountain “Prep Athlete” of the week. Grace who also a member of the basketball team has had an outstanding track year throwing the javelin, shot put and discus. Her best discus throw broke the school record. Grace was the region champion in that event. She also qualified for state in the javelin and shot put. Grace also achieved the prestigious “Academic All State” award. Great job Grace and good luck the rest of the way.

Prep of the Week - Sheridan Liggett

Sheridan Liggett has been selected as a Maple Mountain Student Athlete "Prep of the Week"  for her outstanding contributions as a member of the girls basketball team.  Sheridan led her team to a 2nd place finish in region.  She was 4th in the state in scoring with a 19.7 average while also being in the top 6 in free throw shooting.  Sheridan was selected as a member of the Academic All State team in basketball and also as a member of the girls soccer team.  Sheridan has been selected to participate in the 5A  All Star game coming up soo

Prep of the Week -Casey Harris

Casey Harris has been selected as a Maple Mountain Student Athlete "Prep of the Week" for her outstanding contributions as a member of the state champion girls wrestling team and also as a member of school orchestra and band. Casey helped the wrestling team win the state title by placing at the state meet this year.  She also had an overall record of 16-8.  Casey has also been an outstanding member of the band and orchestra while playing the trumpet.  Casey was selected as a member of the "All State Orchestra" this past year.  Casey is

Preps of the Week - Cheyenne Ortiz, Madi Goulding, Oaklee Tingey

Madi Goulding, Cheyenne Ortiz, and Oaklee Tingey are preps of the week from the Drill Team.

Three members of the Maple Mountain High School Drill Team were chosen to audition for the 5A All-State Drill Team. Madi Goulding, daughter of Tara and Steven Goulding; Julia Dall, Cheyenne Ortiz, daughter of Ryan and Amy Ortiz; and Oaklee Tingey, daughter of RaShel Shepherd and Ty Tingey, represented Maple Mountain at the auditions held on Thursday, November 4.
