Nixan Jackson has been selected as a Maple Mountain High School student athlete "Prep Athlete of the Week" for her outstanding play as a member of the girls soccer team. Nixan has 17 goals on the season and 6 assists in helping her team to a top ranking in the state as they head into the state 5A playoffs. Nixan is an outstanding leader on the team who is well respected by the other players. Nixan is also an outstanding student in the classroom where she maintains a 3.718 overall grade point average.
