Kourtney Finch, a drill team member and senior at Maple Mountain High, has made the Utah Valley University dance team.

There are sixteen scholarships available to sixteen individuals, but are not officially given until August.

“At first, I couldn’t believe I had made the UVU dance team. A friend of mine posted the list of who made it (which was posted a week later after tryouts) on facebook; later I saw the list for myself. I felt excited but then scared,” said Kourtney Finch.
