Maple Mountain FIRST Robotics Team takes 2nd at regional competition
Maple Mountain’s Eaglebots took 2nd place at the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics regional competition which included competitors from Idaho, Montana, Utah and Wyoming. The team had to design and create a robot that could hang tubes on racks with three rows and three columns. The top row was nine and a half feet in the air and worth three points. At the end, the teams could deploy a “minibot” to climb a ten and a half foot pole, this competition was worth 30 points.
