On March 19 the ACT will be administered to Junior students at MMHS. Sophomore and Senior students don't need to attend on this day.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
Working on getting my DVM to become a veterinarian.
What are your favorite hobbies?
Reading, Dungeons and Dragons, mushrooms, collecting Pokeman cards, etc.
If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would talk with Albert Einstein and ask him how he got to where he was in life.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years? In college, trying to finish getting my degree.
What are our favorite hobbies? Foreign languages, learning about countries, art
If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them? Amelia Earhart -- I would ask "what happened to you and how did she have the courage to fly over the pacific ocean?"

Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I see myself striving for my ultimate goal to love and be loved. All I want in life is to help... from people within the social work field to animals in the sea, by working with them, as well as the PLANET by being side by side with wondrous sunsets and embarking on adventures!!
What are your favorite hobbies?
If I could have a conversation with anyone from history it would be QUEEN LILIUOKALONI. "How could you choose love over hate EVERY TIME, when you and your country faced oppression?"
If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I love creating! Literally, anything from writing songs to painting and drawing; to a good team of dynamic sports. (shout out to swim, volleyball, and cross-country!) Finally, I love creating happiness for others.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years? I want to see myself in a stable position with my career and family.
What are your favorite hobbies? Reading and colorguard.
If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them? Malcom X - I'd ask him what he thinks of the current state of the world.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I want to have my bachelors degree and be on my way to medical school.
What are your favorite hobbies? I love playing guitar and doing anything that involves the outdoors.
If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them? Buddha, he seemed like the ultimate chill guy.

Young women born between 2008-1999 who live, go to school or work in Springville or Mapleton are invited to compete for the title of Miss Springville/Mapleton 2025 and win thousands of scholarship dollars to further their education. Students interested in preparing for the upcoming February 8 National ACT may sign up for an ACT Prep Class offered by Maple Mountain. The two-week course will be on Saturday, January 18, 2025 and Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 8:00 am - 11:30 am. The cost of the class is $60 and includes a preparation book, ACT 2024-2025.
Because this is a high-demand class, there will be no refunds, and will be open to students who sign up on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be two classes that will be limited to 35 students each (the first 70 students total).
To enroll in the ACT Prep Class, pay online at Myschoolfees.org or at the Finance Office. Questions regarding the ACT should be directed to the Counseling Office. (Counselor emails can be found here).
To register for the National ACT Test, visit www.act.org. Create a student account and choose a test date and location that works best.

On Nov 7th MMHS German students were able to go to UVU with German students across UT to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall. The were able to visit stations that taught them about life in Former East and West Berlin, about the Berlin Wall and about what German went through to become one country again.
It is time to start the registration process for the AP Exams. The exams will still be given
during the first 2 weeks of May, but the registration is happening much earlier in the school
year.
To Register for an AP Exam:
1- Create an account at myap.collegeboard.org . Many teachers use AP Classroom to give
assignments for test review so it is important to use an email address you can easily
access.
2- Join your AP Class Section using the join code given to you by your teacher.
3- Pay for the exam. The cost for each AP exam is $99. You can pay this by logging onto
myschoolfees.com. There is a link on the school website at mmhs.nebo.edu. We
recommend that you pay the entire amount when registering. However, there is the
option to pay a $40 deposit before the November 8
