Ellevés Sweep the Rocky Mountain Drill Team Invitational Competition

Haylie Nelson won 4th place in the 4A jazz category at the solo competition.
Emily Kessinger won 2nd place in the 4A contemporary category at the solo competition.

The MMHS Ellevés competed at the Rocky Mountain Drill Team Invitational Competition at Corner Canyon High School on January 10, 2015. They placed 1st in Hip Hop, 1st in Military, 1st in Dance, and 1st in Kick. There were seven 4A schools competing at the competition. The Ellevés also received the Overall 4A Trophy for having the highest scores in their top three routines.

Maple Mountain also took four of the top five places in the 4A Drill Down. Emily Kessinger won 1st place, McKenna Bate won 2nd place, Tori Little won 4th place, and Madi Ellis won 5th place. Congratulations drill team!Congratulations also to Ellevés' Emily Kessinger and Haylie Nelson. Emily Kessinger won 2nd place in the 4A contemporary category and Haylie Nelson won 4th place in the 4A jazz category at the solo competition held on Friday, January 9, 2015.

The drill team will now prepare for the Region 8 Drill Team Competition which will be held at Maple Mountain on January 29, 2015 at 6 p.m. Make plans now to come support the Ellevés!
