On April 13, 2010 Maple Mountain’s tennis team took a long drive to Vernal. After the long drive, the team finally arrived at Uintah High School to take on the Ute’s. Maple Mountain played very well against Uintah, winning 5-0, our varsity continues to shine. Justin Beary and Blaine Blonquist took Braden George and Trevor Morey’s 2nd doubles varsity spot due to Trevor Morey’s sprained ankle. The Blonquist and Beary team won with an amazing 6-0, 6-0 victory.

Later that week on April 15th the Maple Mountain tennis team took on Spanish Fork High School at home. Spanish Fork was our hardest match of the season so far. It was a close match from beginning to end. Our singles played well and hard not giving up at all. Our doubles team played very well and both of our doubles won. In the end after all of the battling was over Maple Mountain lost 2-3. Even though we may have lost this match Maple Mountain will practice their hardest for their rematch on April 29th at Spanish Fork. We hope to see all of our fans there; this will truly be a good match.
