Ryan Gale -- MMHS Intern 106.41 KB

Ryan Gale, a senior at Maple Mountain High School, spends every other day interning at the Utah County public defender’s office.

Gale has a couple of different jobs at the defenders office.  His duties include observing lawyers and helping with organization.

When asked if he is still interested in this line of work after interning in this environment, Gale said, “Yes, it’s really cool; and, I have grown a lot in my knowledge.

Gale witnessed a murder preliminary hearing, which is a proceeding after a criminal complaint has been filed by the prosecutor to determine whether there is enough evidence to require a trial.

If you’re interested in the internship program, please contact Mrs. Robyn Dunn, Work-based Learning Coordinator, Maple Mountain High, (801) 794-6740, or robyn.dunn [at] nebo.edu (robyn[dot]dunn[at]nebo[dot]edu).
