Submitted by tyler.lewis on Mon, 04/30/2018 - 14:07

SCHOOL CELEBRATIONS
Utah Prevention Day gives secondary schools around the state an opportunity to celebrate the prevention lessons that students have learned throughout the year. Teachers can review and reinforce those life skills taught before students leave for the summer. We want to protect our students from the dangers of drugs, under-age drinking, violence, crime and bullying.

Issack Bahena at DECA Nationals

Submitted by tyler.lewis on Thu, 04/26/2018 - 08:33

Issack Bahena just returned from the DECA Nationals Competition in Atlanta, Georgia.  With competitors for every state, and from Mexico, Spain, Canada, China, and Japan, Issack performed very well and represented Maple Mountain High with pride.  Issack was required to take one test and two role play competitions to advance to the final round.  With around 200 students in his field, it was a difficult task to be in the top 20 for the final round.   Issack was close to reaching the finals.
