Where do you want to see yourself in five years? In College, with at least a Bachelor's Degree. Hopefully, well on my way to my career.
What are your favorite hobbies? Playing saxophone in the concert and marching bands at MMHS, drawing, reading and writing poetry.
Patriotic Contests
The Freedom Festival sponsors multiple patriotic contests each year in categories including Art, Essay, Speech, Storytelling, and Video. The video contest is open to everyone; other contests are open only to students. The contest theme this year is Freedom.
In addition to receiving cash prizes, contest winners enjoy having their work promoted in the community by the Freedom Festival all year.
The deadline for all contests is November 14, so get moving!
Prep of the Week - Conlee Johnson
Conlee Johnson has been selected as a Prep of the Week for her outstanding play as the goalie on the Lady Eagles soccer team. Conlee and the Lady Eagles have won five straight games and will take on Timpview in the first round of the state soccer playoffs. Good luck to Conlee and the lady Golden Eagles!
Prep of the Week - Garred Blanthorn
Garred Blanthorn has been selected as a Prep of the Week for his outstanding play at defensive end and fullback for the football team. Garred has been the leading tackler and rusher this year. His efforts have helped the Golden Eagles to three straight wins. With two games left, Garred and his teammates are putting themselves into a solid position for a playoff berth. Good luck to Garred and the Golden Eagles football team!
