Sophomore Mekinzie Meeks’s favorite quote is, “The Lord is in the details of our lives.” – President Thomas S Monson. This is one of her favorite quotes because she has seen it in her life, and she is grateful that her Heavenly Father and Jesus give her those tender mercies. In five years, she sees herself returned from serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attending a university working towards a degree in English, and quite possibly engaged.
Bryson Van Tassell has been selected as this week's "Prep of the Week" for Maple Mountain High School. Bryson has been a big reason why the Golden Eagle baseball team is off to a great start. His bat and glove helped the team to recently win back-to-back team championships at Deseret Hills and Snow Canyon Invitational Baseball Tournaments in St. George. Congratulations Bryson and good luck to you and the team the rest of the year!
