1. Monday, October 29 - Teachers will watch the movie during school collaboration and receive training afterward.
There are still a few spots left to sign up to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 10th. The PSAT serves as a practice test for the SAT as well as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship. Sophomores and Juniors may take the test. In order to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship, the PSAT must be taken during the fall of your Junior year. The test will be limited to 40 students, and the deadline to register is Friday, October 5th. The cost of the test is $20.00, paid to the Finance Office. On Saturday, September 29th, the MMHS Marching Band competed in the BBI Marching Band Competition at USU. The band stepped it up in their performance, and many judges and spectators were very complimentary of our show. The band was awarded Outstanding Musical Performance, and they placed 1st out of 9 bands in the 2A Division. Way to go!
Emma Taylor plays Varsity 1st Doubles on the MMHS tennis team. She is Academic All Region and one of the Team Captains. Her pep talks before each match really help the other players stay focused. She is a natural leader, and Emma currently serves on Student Council as Senior Class VP of Relations.
