Maple Mountain FFA had a successful State Convention and even came home with a State win!
We had two students competing in speaking contests, representing our area. Samantha Powell competed in the Prepared Public Speaking contest. She placed 2nd in the state. Breanna Harding competed in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking contest and came home with the State title! She will be competing at National FFA Convention this October. Both girls spent countless hours preparing for their contest and we are absolutely thrilled with the results!
Our MMHS coding STEM ambassadors just completed attending the 5th grade classes at Mapleton Elementary School. It was a very successful year teaching these 5th graders. Through 8 visits many students completed a whole section on code.org. We would like to thank: Mr. Groneman, Miss Thompson, Mrs. Bradford, and Mrs. Bonnett for letting use be a part of their classes.
