MMHS Swim Team Article

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

A sport here at MMHS that many students are a part of is the swim team.  It has been hard for them with COVID affecting their practices and meets.  Maelee Crowshaw said, "It’s been a struggle trying to figure out practices, schedules, and having to come on different days."  Eleah Eastwood said, "It's kind of hard to balance schedules, and only so many people can be in the pool at once so it makes it harder."  It hasn't been an easy start to the season for the swim team this year, but they are still working hard to make it a good one!

We are saddened by the news of the passing of one of our own. Bryson McQuivey embodied the qualities of a Golden Eagle - courageous and strong. He was an inspiration to us all. #brysonstrong

Maple Mountain Girls wrestling starts today, November 24 at 6pm in the wrestling room.

Be part of history with the very first all girls team. All 9-12th grade girls are welcome to come try one of the fastest growing and newly sanctioned female sports in the state of Utah. This is a separate team from the boys, with girls-only practices, competitions, and travel. There are no cuts from the team. There are opportunities for college scholarships with any of the over 60 college women's varsity wrestling teams across the country.
