Science Olympiad

Submitted by tyler.lewis on
On Saturday our MMHS Science Olympiad team participated in the Davis  Regional Tournament.  This means 11 students voluntarily came to the school on a Saturday to take 3-4, 50 minute tests each.  This has been a hard year for Science Olympiad because we haven't been able to do any of the "fun" build events.  Congratulate these students when you see them!! We have 2 more virtual events including the State tournament on March 20th.

MMHS ACT Test for Juniors on March 16th!

Submitted by terry.krieger-james on

On Tuesday, March 16th, the ACT will be administered to all junior students at MMHS. Sophomore and senior students do not need to attend school on this day. Juniors will need to bring with them a no.2 pencil and an approved calculator if they wish to use one for the math portion of the test. All of the problems on the math test can be solved without the use of a calculator. This year’s test does not include the writing section. The test must be taken on a school Chromebook.

DECA State Results

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Last week we had our DECA state competition.  The conference was held virtually through flip grid, even with this change our students performed very well.  If you see these students please congratulate them for their hard work.  All who finished in the top four qualify for nationals.  This year nationals will be held virtually.

Parker Myers
Where do you want to see yourself in five years?  In college, working on a degree, hopefully in engineering.  Maybe, writing a book.  Hopeful, still spending time with my friends.
What are your favorite hobbies?  Playing LaCrosse, listening to music, sketching, hanging with my friends.  Classic video games makes the list too.
