Miss Drill Utah Solo Competition

Five Ellevés competed in the annual Miss Drill Utah Solo Competition on Thursday, October 21 at Mountain Ridge High School. There were 156 girls from drill teams across the state that were competing in the competition. The girls competed in different dance genres and in their school classification; but then 17 girls were chosen based on their overall scores as semifinalists to compete for the title of Miss Drill Utah.

MHS Shakespeare Dance Team Results

Congratulations to the 2021 MMHS Shakespeare Dance Team for placing 4th overall in the Dance Ensemble and Dance Duo/Trio categories for Oxford (5A) Division at the annual Shakespeare High School Competition in Cedar City.  Way to go Alyssa Walker, Avery Hunter, Emily Edwards, Bailee Salmon (Dance Company) and Mckena Perry, Skylie Worthington, and Kynslie Farr (Dance Excel).  Both pieces will be performed this Thursday, October 28 in the MMHS auditorium at 7pm in our annual Halloween Dance Concert.

Marching Band Places 3rd!

Congratulations to the Maple Mountain Marching Band students and staff last Saturday! It was a wet, rainy day but the students did a great job performing at Utah State. The band placed third overall in the 5A open division.

MMHS Jr. Dance Clinic 2021

Come have your children from grades K-8th join us October 25-28 from 4-5 pm in the dance room for a dance clinic. The performance will be Thursday, October 28 at 7 pm. It costs $25 dollars (t-shirt included).

Cross Country at Region

The cross country team rocked it at regions this Monday, and they took 2nd losing only by 3 points, which is so close for cross country! 7 of our 8 kids that ran varsity placed in the top 20. The girls place 4th, with 3 in the top 20. These kids worked so hard this year and did amazing!

FBLA Fall Leadership

FBLA officers Gavin Murray and Keslee Van Orman had a great experience at their Fall Leadership Conference today. They learned marketing strategies, networking skills, and how to succeed in competitions. It was a fun day!
