New MMDS Members

Maple Mountain Dance Company Auditions were held on May 6 - 7th, 2013. Thirty three girls tried out with sixteen making the final cut. The dancers performed an across the floor sequence, and a clinic dance in addition to a movement sequence of their own choreography for the judges.  The new MMDC members are Brianna Black, Alexa Knutzen, Kathryn Southworth, Scottee Studdert, Faith Taylor, MaKayla Yates, Elise Barney, Madie Crandall, Brooklyn Johnson, Alissa Kiser, Alexis Robinson, Anna Tanner, Jasmin Davis, Rebekkah Hart, Whitney Johns, McCall Moon.

2013-2014 MMHS Dance Company Auditions

Maple Mountain High School Dance Company 2013-2014 Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday May 6th and 7th at 3:00 in the high school dance room.  Information and applications can be found on MMHS's website under Departments and Fine Arts."  If you are a 9th, 10th, or 11th grader interested in dance, please come try out to be a member of the school's performing dance company.

April Students of the Month

MMHS is proud to announce the April Students of the Month! 

Sarina Van Orman

“Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.” –Oscar Wilde. Sarina likes this quote because it reminds her to be true to herself and make choices that are best for her. She thinks it’s important to be happy with who you are.

Five years from now Sarina wants to see herself as a returned sister missionary and going to college at BYU.

MMHS Ellevés Showcase

The MMHS Ellevés Drill Team will hold their fourth annual showcase on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the MMHS auditorium.  The showcase will feature an introduction of all of the members of the Ellevés.  Performances will include their award-winning competition routines in the areas of hip hop, military, dance, and kick.  There are also a few new routines that will be part of the show including an officer’s routine, a lyrical piece, and solos by some of the Ellevés.
