MMHS Greenhouse Poinsettia Sale

Maple Mountain High School offers their poinsettias for sale. $8.00 for an 8" pot (these are bigger than the standard poinsettia). Available in the standard red color. Quantities are limited so please order as soon as possible. You can order by visiting www.maplemountainffa.com.

All proceeds help Maple Mountain greenhouse students do more projects.

November Students of the Month

MMHS is proud to announce the November Students of the Month!

Sophomore Kristi Reategui’s favorite quote is, “I am in competition with no one.  I run my own race. I have no desire to play the game of being better than anyone, in any way, shape, or form.  I just aim to improve, to be better than I was before. That’s me and I’m free.” In five years, Kristi sees herself in the Olympics.

Spotlight: Rachelle Miner

Mrs. Miner has always made herself accessible throughout all my high school years.  She’s happy and kind; I’ve never seen her without a smile on her face.  She is so willing to help and answer questions.  During my junior year, I changed my mind multiple times about what I was going to do my senior year.  I looked into a lot of different options such as MATC (where I could get my nail technician degree) or an internship (to give me a feel for a future career).  I went to Mrs.

DECA Club

On November 5, 2013 the Maple Mountain DECA club attended the Snow College Invitational.  Maple Mountain was represented very well with the following students who placed in their respected fields: Business Law and Ethics Event second place was Chandler Schramm and Bethany Irwin, while Brayden Jackman and Duncan Beutler took third; Scott Johnson finished in the top 5 for Quick Serve Restaurant Event.

We would like to congratulate these students with their success!

Thanksgiving Floral Arrangements

Looking for a centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table? The Maple Mountain Floral and Greenhouse classes would like to help. We will be selling Thanksgiving arrangements for $15.00. The proceeds go to help the greenhouse program. Arrangements will be available for pickup on Tuesday November 26. Orders need to be placed by November 20. MMHS Jr. Dance Clinic

Come dance with the Maple Mountain Dance Company! Learn a dance to perform at a Christmas Dance Concert on December 5th.

Register Monday, November 25
Ages 5-14
Cost $25 (includes a t-shirt)
4-5pm in MMHS Dance Studio

Clinic: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 4-5pm on Dec 2-4
Concert: Thursday, December 5 at 7pm in the MMHS auditorium (Admission is free for participants and their families)
