Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Aedan Seiuli has been selected as a Maple Mountain "Prep Athlete of the Week"  for his outstanding play as a member of the football team.  Aedan plays safety, kick returner, and receiver for the Golden Eagles.  The Eagles are sitting at 5-2 on the year and Aedan has been a big part of that success.  Aedan has also accepted an offer to take his game to the next level at the University of Nevada Reno next year.  Congratulations Aedan and good luck to you and your teammates the rest of the way.

Maple Mountain Golf

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Sports this year has been a challenge unlike any other year. With Covid 19 sweeping through the country, the Maple Mountain Golf Team and its head coach, Johnny Averett, has undoubtedly faced difficulty and limited freedom with practice and tournaments. However, through all this negativity the members of the golf team don't even mention that covid has messed anything up. This is partly because golf is already pretty socially distanced, and also because the team is either super focused on the sport or just really resilient people.
