Orchestra Concert

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Last Wednesday, October 14, the orchestras had their fall concert. This was their first concert of the year. They practiced non-stop in preparation for this event. At home practice, in class rehearsals, and even before school sectionals; they were determined to get as much practice in as they could before the big concert. Andrew Stark said he was “excited but stressed” for the concert. Most of the orchestra students eemed to reflect this feeling of nervous excitement. Many felt they were prepared personally but had their doubts about the class as a whole.

2020-2021 FCCLA

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Our school has many wonderful clubs. One of these clubs is FCCLA. FCCLA stands for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. FCCLA is a club based on leadership and service throughout the community. They hold meetings every month called, “Sweets and Service” that include fun times, service oriented activities, and, of course, sweets! We asked each of the officers to describe FCCLA in one word.

Bryson Strong Week

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Last week our school made a whole week geared towards raising money for Bryson McQuivey’s cancer treatments.  We called it 15 Strong Week because Bryson’s number on the football team is 15.  Each day of the week there was a different activity to help raise money for his illness.  We also dressed in certain themes each day.
