David Bates is a junior and the son of Kyle and Cia Bates.  Bates favorite subject in school is physics, because he gets to learn about the mathematical rules that govern the universe and the truly beautiful way that it all fits together. Bates said in five years he sees himself returning from an LDS mission then studying physics and math at a university. Something that makes Bates different from everyone else is that he gets super excited about everything from music to band competitions. One of Bates favorite quotes is from Albert Einstein.

Prep of the Week – Krizia Brooks

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

This week’s Prep of the Week is senior Krizia Brooks. Brooks has been dancing for fourteen years. She loves dancing because it’s the way she expresses herself.

“Dancing is what makes me who I am,” she said.

Brooks is extremely happy that she has been awarded the honor of Drill All-State and is proud to be one of the best.

She makes many sacrifices for drill like having to wake up at 4 a.m. for early practice. Brooks’ goals include winning region and state competitions.
