MMHS Welding Students Grab National Gold

Submitted by shea.bradshaw on

Congratulations to Jared Massic and his Welding Team.  These young men won first place among over 100 state winners across the nation competing for national awards in Louisville Kentucky.  Tosh Davis, Ben Warnick and Tyler Christmas built their own project and had the highest team score on a 100-question written test.  They were recognized by the Spanish Fork City council this week and honored with a fire truck ride down Main Street.  Well done to Mr. Massic and his team!

Submitted by tyler.lewis on

Maple Mountain High School SkillsUSA club needs your help to send its Welding Fabrication Team back to Louisville, KY for the national competition for the 5th year in a row. On March 24th, we took first place at the state level and were invited to compete among the top competitors in the country. In hopes to help with this cost, we would like to invite you to sign up and bring in anything you need to have repaired or re-welded or have a small project built.
