The Science Olympiad team placed first overall for the second year in a row. The kids worked super hard (most of them were new to this), so this is quite the accomplishment! Science Olympiad is a catch all competition that includes events in science, math, technology, engineering, and even music and technical writing for some events. The team doing well is a reflection of the whole school, not just the science department - thank you for all of your support.
Nationals is in a month from May 18th-22nd.
Maple Mountain High School SkillsUSA club needs your help to send its Welding Fabrication Team and its Chapter Display Team back to Louisville, KY for the National Competition. On April 1st, we took first place at the state level and were invited to compete with the top competitors in the country. To help with this cost, we would like to invite you to sign up and bring in anything you need to have repaired or re-welded or have a small project built. If you provide the material to fix your project, we will weld it back together for you.
The Maple Mountain High School Dance Company will present their 7th annual spring concert entitled "Legacy" on Friday, April 29 at 7:00 pm in the MMHS auditorium. The Dance Company will showcase their own award winning choreographic pieces, 7 of which received superior scores at the Dance Company Festival and Adjudication. This concert will also feature Social Dance 2, Dance 2, Addie's Dance Academy, Mapleton Jr. High Dance, and a very special guest perfomance by M-Shay from Haiti.
