Nolan Bird has been selected as a Maple Mountain student athlete "Prep of the Week" for his outstanding play as a member of the baseball team. Nolan has led the team in batting with a .423 batting average for most of the season. Nolan has also been outstanding in the field at the shortstop position. Nolan also represents the school well in the classroom as he was just recently honored with the prestigious UHSAA Academic All State Award. Nolan's plans are to serve an LDS mission upon graduation. After Nolan's mission he may look to play baseball at the next level. Congratulations Nolan and good luck in your future endeavors.
