Maple Mountain High School Boys Lacrosse tryouts are taking place Monday, March 1st, from 2:30-4:30pm, and Tuesday, March 2nd, from 5:00-7:00pm. Tryouts on both days will be held on the MMHS football practice fields. Students who are planning to tryout must register at registermyathlete.com, have a 2020-2021 school year physical completed, and get tryout clearance form from the Athletic Trainer (Krista Prusak).

Congratulations to our Girls Wrestling Team who won the State Title at the inaugural state competition. They collectively scored 192.5 points, with the next team scoring 144. There were three State Champions, Abi Archibald, Ashley Camacho, and Morgan Honsvick, with Jesse Harrison, Aurelia Ramos, Nya Seiuli, Donna Wright taking a 2nd place finish, and Abigail Adams, Cecily Morkel 3rd place, with Melia Bartlett 5th.
The team is coached by Head Coach, Billy Cox and Assistant Coach, Cynthia Birch. Coach Cox was awarded the State Coach of the Year.
Molly Brenchley nominated Aubrynn Hall from herDigital Business Applications class. Mrs. Brenchley said, "Aubrynn was a great student in my Digital Business Applications class. She was always on task and completed each assignment on time. She was also helpful to other students and I really enjoyed having her as a student in class. Aubrynn was positive towards the other students in class and very respectful to me, which I really appreciated this year!"

The parent meeting will be held March 29 at 6 pm. Clinics will be April 19 & 20, and the auditions will be April 21 at 3 pm.

Abigail Archibald is in Ms. Branch's Animal Science Class. Ms. Branch said, "Abi is one of the hardest working students I have had the privilege of having in class. She is kind and so respectful to others. Abi asks good questions and wants to understand the material being taught, and that's something I love! Abi is going to do some amazing things in life because of her drive and dedication, and I can't wait to see where it takes her!"

For all boys interested in playing soccer for Maple Mountain High School, tryouts will be held on Monday and Tuesday, March 1st and 2nd, on the soccer field at MMHS. The time will be 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on both days. If by chance we get hit with too much snow, the tryouts will be held in the Fieldhouse on those same days at 8 pm to 10 pm.
Officer Kurt Ballantyne selected Peyton Moosman as a CTE Outstanding Senior of the year for his Law Enforcement class. Officer Ballantyne said, "Peyton was an excellent student in class, completed an internship with Santaquin Police Department, and has passion for criminal justice. He is very deserving of this recognition."
