Julia Hart- Sophomore Visual Artist Award

We want to give a shout out to sophomore artist, Julia Hart, for her artwork, a 9"x 12" pencil drawing referencing a 1905 photographic portrait by Edward Curtis of the Sioux Lakota warrior 'Chief Three Horses.' This drawing was the only artwork chosen to represent all of the students in Nebo district this year and was accepted to the Utah State Senate Visual Arts competition, which is a serious award!

Science Olympiad First Competition of the Year

The Science Olympiad team competed over the weekend at Uintah High School in Vernal for the first competition of the year. The team did fantastical and received the following individual results:

Excalibur Classic Drill Competition Results

The MMHS Ellevés competed at the Excalibur Classic Drill Competition at Murray High School on December 14, 2019. They placed 1st in Hip Hop,2nd in Military, 2nd in Dance, and 2nd in Character.

Congratulations drill team! Their next competition is at UVU on January 4.

FBLA Success

Our FBLA Club was very busy and successful last week. We had our region competition at USU Eastern and took 5 competitors to the event. Each of these five competitors placed and brought home a total of 13 awards including three 1st place finishes and one on-the-spot scholarship offer! Super proud of these Golden Eagles!

MMHS Ellevés Place at First Competition

The MMHS Ellevés competed in their first competition of the season, The Wasatch Drill Invitational Competition, at Wasatch High School on Saturday, December 7. The Ellevés competed in the Pom, Hip Hop, Military, Dance, and Character categories.

The Ellevés won 1st place in the Pom category, 1st place in the Military category, 2nd place in the Hip Hop category, 2nd place in the Dance category, and 2nd place in the Character category.
