Our FBLA club competed at region yesterday and was awarded 5th place overall in the Outstanding Chapter category (our highest ranking ever).

Zina Thomas (not pictured) placed 7th in Intro to Business Concepts

Keslee Van Orman and Gavin Murray took 3rd in Hospitality and Event Management (qualified for nationals!) AND 6th in Marketing

Keslee also took 10th in Future Business Leader!

Our FBLA club had a successful day yesterday at Region!

Individual events:
Madisen Millard -- 3rd place in Introduction to Public Speaking
Logan Smith -- 2nd in Hospitality and Event Management, 4th in Business Management
Brigham Call -- 3rd in Banking & Financial Systems, 5th for Public Speaking, 5th for Future Business Leader
Spencer Shaw -- 4th in Social Media Strategies, 4th in Client Service
Austin Willson -- 4th in Entrepreneurship
Gavin Murray -- 2nd in Sales Presentation

A few of our Maple Mountain DECA/FBLA members were able to participate in the Warm the Soles of Kids program and wrap shoes for some of our MMHS students in need. These shoes were donated and delivered to our school by Nebo Credit Union. We’re grateful to them for their generosity and glad we could continue our tradition of helping to wrap these shoes for our students!

FBLA officers Gavin Murray and Keslee Van Orman had a great experience at their Fall Leadership Conference today. They learned marketing strategies, networking skills, and how to succeed in competitions. It was a fun day!

Marketing Team: 9th place -- Hunter Dustin, Hudson Roney & Austin Willson
Introduction to Business: 8th place -- Austin Willson & 6th place -- Gavin Murray

Here is a quick shout-out to our FBLA students for their great performance at our region competition. The virtual awards ceremony was held yesterday and hopefully, they'll get their medals/certificates in January.

Our FBLA club did SO WELL at their Region Competition! These 13 awesome students brought home a total of 34 certificates and medals with their top 5 finishes! MMHS placed 3rd overall behind two chapters who nearly quadrupled their size. What a competitive group; we are so proud! Here is the list of our students and their achievements. Please congratulate them when you see them.
