Science Olympiad Competes at the National Competition

The team had a great time at the national science olympiad competition at Wright State University the weekend before school got out. This is the third year that our team has competed at nationals, and it was one of our best yet.

Here are our best individual results:
5th in Electric Wright Stuff (airplane) - Adam Syndergaard and Madyson Meeks and Lauren von Bose
16th in Rocks and Minerals - Delaney Rose and Julie Carlson
17th in Write it Do it - Joseph DelaCruz and Joshua Green
21st in Optics - Gideon Hale and Philip Richey

5th Annual Welding Fix It Saturday

Maple Mountain High School SkillsUSA club needs your help to send its Welding Fabrication Team back to Louisville, KY for the national competition for the 5th year in a row. On March 24th, we took first place at the state level and were invited to compete among the top competitors in the country. In hopes to help with this cost, we would like to invite you to sign up and bring in anything you need to have repaired or re-welded or have a small project built.

Jessica Pratt Wins Silver at Largest International Science Fair

Congratulations to Jessica Pratt from Maple Mountain High School who competed at International Sustainable World Energy, Engineering, Environment Project (ISWEEEP),  the largest international science fair in the world this past weekend, May 3-8, 2017, in Houston Texas. Jessica won a silver medal and $400 dollars where competed against students from around the world.

Prep of the Week - Alayna Ellis

Alayna Ellis has been selected as this week's "Prep of the Week." Alayna has been a stalwart 2nd baseman for the Lady Eagles softball team this year. Her bat and glove have put the team in a good position for post season play. Congratulations to Alayna, and good luck the rest of the way!
