Marshall Curtis is this weeks MMHS Prep of the Week. Marshall won all six of his matches at the Jaguar Wrestling classic by pins. Marshall's efforts helped his team defeat the # 1 ranked team in the State, Box Elder High School. Marshall is doing an outstanding job wrestling in the 103 lb weight class.
Kimber Creer is the prep of the week. She is a senior and a member of the MMHS Ellevés. She won 1st place in the drill down last weekend and was awarded a medal. Over 500 girls competed in the drill down, as it was a combined 4A/5A event. Great work, Kimber!
Three members of the Maple Mountain High School Drill Team were named to the 4A All-State Drill Team. Kaitlynn Blood, daughter of Kim and Jason Blood; Aubrey Finch, daughter of Jerri Ann and Ryan Finch; and Makayla Wilson, daughter of Nancy and Darrin Wilson were chosen to represent Maple Mountain at the 4A All-State Drill Team Auditions. There were sixty girls who auditioned for twenty spots on the all-state team.
Anna Cronquist was named as the "Prep Athlete of the Week" for September 26-30. Anna is an outstanding Tennis player. We wish Anna good luck this week at state.
Cameron Carson was named "Prep Athlete of the week" for Maple Mountain High School. Cameron is a senior on the Golden Eagle Football team. He is the starting running back.
