MMHS Ellevés Place at First Competition

The MMHS Ellevés competed in their first competition of the season, The Wasatch Drill Invitational Competition, at Wasatch High School on Saturday, December 7. The Ellevés competed in the Pom, Hip Hop, Military, Dance, and Character categories. 

The Ellevés won 1st place in the Pom category, 1st place in the Military category, 2nd place in the Hip Hop category, 2nd place in the Dance category, and 2nd place in the Character category.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years? I want to be a returned missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints pursuing a degree in chemistry education. 
What are your favorite hobbies?  I love to read, hang out with family and friends, learn lots, do chemistry experiments in the lab, play guitar, and make others happy!

Winter Sports Tryouts Begin November 11

To eligible to tryout for any sport, all students must have a current physical. Any physical completed after April 15, 2019, will still be valid for this school year.

If you need a physical, Canyon View Medical is offering free physicals without an appointment. Locations are in Springville, Mapleton, and Spanish Fork.

Also, all student-athletes must be registered on https://www.registermyathlete.com/ before tryouts.

Marching Band Places 1st in the Davis Cup Marching Band Competition

On Saturday, October 26th, the MMHS Marching Band competed in the Davis Cup Marching Band Competition at Davis High School. The band is continuously doing an amazing job! They continue to perform better and better with each performance. The Band was awarded the Outstanding Music caption, and they placed 1st in the 5A Scholastic Division. Way to go!!
