MMHS softball stalemate

The softball team played well in Monday’s scrimmage game. The game was scheduled to be the team’s first official game, but due to unwanted weather conditions, the game was cancelled midway through the second inning.

The score at the point of cancellation was 2 to 7 in Provo’s favor.  All of Provo’s points were obtained through walks, and our two points were made by a double by sophomore Britlee Anderson and a homerun by junior Haley Mecham contributing to a well played game by our Lady Golden Eagles.

“I expect us to go to state,” said sophomore Josey Hartman.

On the first day of school, students enrolled in Nebo’s building construction class leave the school grounds and head to an empty lot at 1073 West River Ridge Lane, Spanish Fork, UT  84660.  At that time, there was nothing but brown grass and some sage brush.   Now, seven months later, there is a beautiful 3,876 foot house that is close to completion.
