Malia Twede
What is your favorite quote, and why?
“You cannot direct the wind, but you can adjust the sails.” I like it because it describes life.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
College, mission, work, or wife.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Piano, outdoors, one piece, drawing with chalk, or walking my neighbors dog.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
My family.

What makes you different from everyone else?
That’s for other people to decide.

If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Anne Bonney, and I would ask her about life as a pirate.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Math because of my genetics.

 

Michael Peterson
What is your favorite quote, and why?
“I can accept failure. Everyone fails at something, but I can’t accept not trying.” -Michael Jordan. I like this quote because he’s my favorite person.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
College at Texas A&M or Pepperdine.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Baseball, Netflix, and chill.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
Broke my collarbone going down a steep hill on a razor scooter.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I play sports.

If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would talk with Michael Jordan and ask him what made him so great? How can I do that?

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Math, because I'm good at it.

 

Kylie Roylance
What is your favorite quote, and why?
“Die with memories, not dreams.” You only get one life to do anything you really ever dreamed of and want to do.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I hope that I'm in college and in a career that I love. I want to be doing what makes me happy and maybe I'll be married to someone who is my best friend and adventure partner in life.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I love to ride horses and be with animals. I also love to play guitar, and I'm in a band. If I have free time, I will also draw, go on hikes, and just spend time outside. I also love to go camping and hunting with my family.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
Well something that is funny now, was when I was in elementary I used to break into the creepy dirt basement and explore. It was exciting and fun, but one day a teacher caught me and yelled at me. I was so ashamed that I was going to run away from school forever.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I am very dedicated, hardworking, and thoughtful. I always try to put in 110% and be the best I can. I just want to live my life as full as I can, because I'll only get one chance.

If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would ask Viktor Frankl how to get past the darkest moments in life.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Either Psychology or Art. I really like both subjects because they are fun and interesting. They  make you think and be creative and look at things in a new way.

 

Brigham Perry
What is your favorite quote, and why?
“Don't worry about things you can't control.” I like it because it helps me concentrate and focus.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
Back from a mission and attending BYU.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Playing tennis and reading.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
I impersonate Brian Regan and do comedy routines.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I have lived in five different states and went through hurricane Katrina.

If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Benjamin Franklin, and I would ask him about all his different scientific experiments.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Computer programming because it combines creativity with math.

 

Kamryn Wilson
What is your favorite quote, and why?

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I would love to be married and have a fun little family, a career, and be happy.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Singing, working, volleyball, laughing, reading, traveling, swimming, or anything.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
So many things! Pretty much everyday I laugh my head off! Oh geez, I don't even know how to begin answering this one.

What makes you different from everyone else?
I'm a little bit crazy. I love to have fun and let loose every once in awhile.

If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Emma Smith because she was so strong and always faithful to what she believed. A conversation about her life would be amazing.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
History because Coach Miner teaches so well.

 

Spencer Young
What is your favorite quote?
Today I will do what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
In college, close to finishing my major.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Soccer, spray paint art, lacrosse, reading a good book, and sports.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
My life is full of funny moments so I can't pick one!

What makes you different from everyone else?
I am always trying to do better. I love proving someone wrong when they say I can't.

If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Jesus Christ. I don't know what I’d ask because there would be so much to ask.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Physical education or art because I control what I can do.
