Orchestra State Superiors Scores!

Submitted by tyler.lewis on Thu, 05/20/2021 - 14:49
We just got our results back from State Orchestra Festival.  Both groups received Overall Superior scores!  I'm so proud of all their hard work.  For those who don't know, festivals aren't a competition. Each group receives similar to an academic grade for their performance.  I=Superior is like an A grade, II=Excellent is like a B grade, etc.  In non-COVID years, you need majority I/A's in order to make it to the State level. Chamber Orchestra received straight Superiors, meaning both judges awarded I's.Concert Orchestra received a I and a II, so their overall score is a I-.
