Like you, we are just learning that Governor Gary R. Herbert, State Superintendent Syd Dickson, and the Utah State Board of Education “announced today that Utah’s K-12 public schools will extend their dismissal [soft closure] through Friday, May 1st.” Their press release further stated that they will “continue to evaluate the situation to make a determination about the remaining school year” and that:
- School Open: 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Finance Office: CLOSED - Online Payments Only
Students may drop off/pick up assignments. No Teacher appointments. Chromebooks are still available for check-out.
Fees can be paid online as needed: https://secure3.myschoolfees.com/start_v2.aspx
Attached is a new directive from the Nebo Child Nutrition Department concerning school lunch during the soft closure of schools and at home learning.
Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate through this unprecedented time in education. We just want to keep you updated on what is happening in Nebo School District.
For the past couple of days and even through the weekend, Nebo teachers have been in training and preparing online materials and/or packets for their students for “at home” instruction.
Here is the menu that will be served this week at school. We don’t have supplies to do a cold grab and go this week. We are hoping to have them for next week. Because of this, many of our items will be served hot.
Students will come to the lunchroom at this time to grab their breakfast. The clerk will write down their name and lunch number. The student with then leave.
