All are invited to the #savethekids free Parent Education Night sponsored by Nebo School District on November 5, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Springville High audirorium at 1205 East 900 South in Springville, Utah.

Collin Kartchner and Dr. Katey McPherson will lead a discussion on:

  • Balancing screen time and device use,
  • Protecting and cultivating our children's self worth,
  • Devising a sensible family use of device plan.

Angst Movie - Anxiety is Treatable

MMHS Parents,

We are pleased to announce an upcoming event at our school designed to help our students, parents and us as educators.  We will be showing the "Angst Movie" to help our school community become better aware of the growing issues surrounding anxiety and provide some resources to help.  Link: https://angstmovie.com/

1. Monday, October 29 - Teachers will watch the movie during school collaboration and receive training afterward.

PSAT Announcement

There are still a few spots left to sign up to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 10th.  The PSAT serves as a practice test for the SAT as well as the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship.  Sophomores and Juniors may take the test.  In order to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship, the PSAT must be taken during the fall of your Junior year.  The test will be limited to 40 students, and the deadline to register is Friday, October 5th.  The cost of the test is $20.00, paid to the Finance Offi

Marching Band Places 1st at BBI Marching Band Competition

On Saturday, September 29th, the MMHS Marching Band competed in the BBI Marching Band Competition at USU. The band stepped it up in their performance, and many judges and spectators were very complimentary of our show. The band was awarded Outstanding Musical Performance, and they placed 1st out of 9 bands in the 2A Division. Way to go!
