Come Friday, March 3 to watch the dance company perform in the MMHS Auditorium at 7 PM. It costs $5 for adults, $4 for students, or $20 for a family.

The Maple Mountain Dance Company and newly formed Maple Mountain Dance Excel both attended Repretory Dance Theatre's production of "Elan" on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Members of both companies also participated in a master dance class taught by RDT artistic associate Nick Cendese.

Maple Mountain Dance Company Auditions for the 2016-2017 were held the last week of April. Thirty-six dancers auditioned with 20 making the final cut. Congratulations to our new dance company, MMDC! Tiffany Asay, Emily Bates, McKenna Briggs, Addie Black, Sarah Black, Gracen Chiniquy, Brinnley Crane, Shaelynn Duncan, Amanda Frei, Kimber Higginbotham, Samantha Johnson, Muriel Langdon, Megan Moore, Kylie Nuttall, Adyson Peacock, Lynnae Randall, Kelsha Robinson, Caitlyn Taylor, Brooklyn Williams, and Rachel Wall.

The Maple Mountain High School Dance Company will present their 7th annual spring concert entitled "Legacy" on Friday, April 29 at 7:00 pm in the MMHS auditorium. The Dance Company will showcase their own award winning choreographic pieces, 7 of which received superior scores at the Dance Company Festival and Adjudication. This concert will also feature Social Dance 2, Dance 2, Addie's Dance Academy, Mapleton Jr. High Dance, and a very special guest perfomance by M-Shay from Haiti.

The MMHS Dance Company performed at the Dance Company Festival and Adjudication in March. Seven of the eight pieces performed received straight SUPERIOR scores! Alexa Knutzen's choreography received the Judge's Choice Award. Please congratulate all of the talented dancers for their incredible performances.

The MMHS Dance Company will host its 7th annual showcase on Friday, March 11th at 7:00 pm. Come see a preview of dances performed by the Dance Company along with guest performances by Esprit de Corp, The Dance Spot, The Dancing Child, Lifehouse Performing Studio, Charisma Studios, Devotion Dance, Steps Dance, and more. This is an exciting night celebrating dance in our schools and community.

Auditions for the Maple Mountain High School Dance Company were held on April 29th, 2015. MMDC is the advanced performing dance group at MMHS. The dancers were taught a short dance combination by graduating MMDC seniors and performed this in addition to their own movement sequence for the judges. Twenty seven dancers auditioned and sixteen were selected for MMDC 2015-2016.

Maple Mountain High School Dance Company Auditions for the 2015-2016 school year will be Wednesday, April 29th from 3-6pm in the MMHS Dance Room. Applicants must attend one of two clinics on Monday, April 27th, or Tuesday, April 28th from 3-5 pm in addition to the tryout. The Maple Mountain High School Dance Company will present their 6th annual Spring Concert entitled "Illuminated" on Friday, April 3rd in the MMHS Auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm. MMDC will showcase choreography by Elise Barney, Alexa Knutzen, Kathryn Southworth, Faith Taylor, Addie Black, Lexi Robinson, Cassandra Chambers and Alissa Kiser, as well as 2 guest pieces by Shauntell Bird and LeeZa Stephens. The social dance class, dance 2 and Mapleton Jr.High dance classes will also perform.
