8th annual Maple Mountain Dance Concert

The MMHS Fine Arts Department will host the 8th annual Maple Mountain Dance Concert Friday, May 5th at 7pm in the auditorium.  The concert presented by the Dance Company MMDC is entitled "Stand Tall, Rise Above" and will also feature Dance Excel, Dance 2, Social Dance 1 and 2.  Admission $6, students $4, family $20.  Please come out and enjoy this amazing display of dance talent and inspiration.

2017-2018 Dance Company Announced

Congratulations to the newly selected Maple Mountain Dance Company for 2017-2018! MMDC auditions were held April 17-19th. Forty six dancers auditioned with twenty five making the final cut and thirteen making the Dance 3/Dance Excel Company. Applicants performed a clinic dance and their own individual solos for the judges.

Dance Company Festival

Congratulations to the Maple Mountain Dance Company for their amazing performance at the Dance Company Festival and Adjudication this year. Addie Black, Lynnae Randall, and Kimber Higginbotham received Superior scores for their choreography. Addie Black's piece also won the "judges choice" award. Shaelynn Duncan and Muriel Langdon's choreography have both been chosen to represent MMHS at the Utah State Dance Competition in April. Way to go MMDC!
