Kagen Nelson has been selected as a Prep of the Week for Maple Mountain High School. Kagen is a Jr. swimmer who specializes in the 100 free, 100 backstroke, and the 50 free. Kagen holds the school record in each of these events. Kagen has had an outstanding year and looks to do well in region and state competitions. Congratulations and good luck the rest of the year!
The MMHS Ellevés competed at the Rocky Mountain Drill Team Invitational Competition at Corner Canyon High School on January 13, 2018. They placed 1st in Pom, 1st in Hip Hop,1st in Military, 1st in Dance, and 1st in Character. The team also won the Overall 5A trophy and the overall Sweepstakes trophy.
Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. Maple Mountain High School desires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn student’s college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition.
For the 2018 AP exams, students at Maple Mountain High School will be registering online. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access.
Go see the MMHS art show up in the auditorium hallway! Unfortunately, it won't be up for very long, as we're taking 13 of the entries (those with ribbons) on to represent our school at the Springville Museum of Art next week.If you have a chance sometime, you might like to see what some of the students have been up to.
