Maple Mountain Soccer Shows Promise

The Maple Mountain boys soccer team has now finished playing every 4A schhol in our district for region soccer. Although they haven’t won a game yet, our fans and our players  have hope for the future.

Will Shelton, keeper of the team said ,“I feel like we have the ability to play with these teams and we’re beginning to become a team.” Hitting hard with a surprisingly two to one loss against Salem Hills in game one, the Golden Eagles have come far considering it’s the first team of the new school and Springville scored the least they’ve been able to on any team this season.

Brad Clawson, wing for Maple Mountain said, “I feel like we’re getting better and coming together. We’re the first team of the new school and we are getting along well.”

The first boys soccer team is showing promise; we encourage all Golden Eagles fans to come to the games and support our soccer team.
