After defeating three teams the first day, Varsity 1st singles Andrew Blonquist lead the team by beating Dixie 9-7 in a tough battle and went on to beat Spanish Fork in straight sets. 2nd Singles Eric Whiting beat Spanish Fork easily and went on to a rematch victory against Orem 7-6,6-1.
On Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27, MMHS students competed in a variety of events at the SkillsUSA State Competition. The MMHS Chapter of SkillsUSA won the Quality Chapter Award by completing certain requirements throughout the year.
