Students from the MMHS advanced welding class were able to go on a field trip where they toured 4 union halls (sheet metal workers, pipefitters, ironworkers, and boilermakers) and Weber State University's welding engineering department. It was a long day of over 10 hours and 200 miles but the students enjoyed using the equipment at several of the union halls, learning about post-high school options, and meeting with multiple experts in the field of welding and other trades.
