Junior Matt Peterson has been selected as a Maple Mountain student athlete "Prep of the Week" for his outstanding performances recently in leading the boys basketball team to five wins in their last six games. Matt plays the forward position and is averaging 11 points per game and pulls down a little over 5 rebounds per game. Matt is known for his excellent perimeter shooting and defense. One game of particular note had Matt hitting a last second shot to beat Provo by one point several weeks ago. Matt is also an outstanding student. Congratulations Matt and good luck the rest of the way!
