The MMHS Ellevés competed in their first competition of the season, The Mustang Classic Drill Competition, at Herriman High School on Saturday, December 4. The Ellevés competed in the Hip Hop, Military, Dance, and Show categories.
The Ellevés won 1st place in the Hip Hop category, 2nd place in the Military category, 2nd place in the Dance category, and 1st place in the Show category. The Ellevés also won the 5A Overall trophy. The team was very excited and pleased with their success!
The Ellevés took all five medals in the drill down. Lexi Hill won 5th place, Hadlie Miller won 4th place, Becca Bowman won 3rd place, Cheyenne Ortiz won 2nd place, and Jocilyn Azevedo won 1st place.
Six Ellevés competed in the Mustang Classic Solo Competition on Friday, December 3. Madi Goulding, Kaela Jones, Kynslie Lewis, Cheyenne Ortiz, Lauren Taylor and Oaklee Tingey competed in various categories.
Cheyenne Ortiz placed 3rd , Kynslie Lewis placed 2nd , and Madi Goulding and Oaklee Tingey both placed 1st .
The Ellevés will now prepare for their next competition which is on December 11 at UVU.
