The MMHS Ellevés competed in their first competition of the season, The Mustang Classic Drill Competition, at Herriman High School on Saturday, The Ellevés competed in the Hip Hop, Military, Dance, and Show categories.
The Ellevés won 2nd place in the Hip Hop category, 2nd place in the Military category, 3rd place in the Dance category, and 2nd place in the Show category. Overall, they placed 3rd against some top 5A schools.
Tyli Knudsen won 2nd place in the 5A Drill Down.
Eight Ellevés competed in the Mustang Classic Solo Competition on Friday, December 2. Ellie Asay, Avery Atkinson, Alyssa Clark, Cher Jackson, Kaela Jones, Hadlie Miller, Lauren Taylor, and Oaklee Tingey competed in various categories.
Lauren Taylor placed 1st, Oaklee Tingey placed 1st, Kaela Jones placed 2nd, Hadlie Miller placed 2nd, Cher Jackson placed 3rd, and Ellie Asay placed 5th.
The Ellevés will now prepare for their next competition which is on December 17 at Mountain Ridge High School.
