The MMHS Ellevés competed in the Bountiful Invitational Drill Competition at Bountiful High School on Saturday, January 6, 2024. The Ellevés competed in the Hip Hop, Military, Dance, and Show categories.
The Ellevés won 1 st place in the Hip Hop category, 2 nd place in the Military category, 2 nd place in the Dance category, and 2 nd place in the Show category. Overall, the team placed 2 nd in 5A.
The Ellevés won all five of the five medals in the drill down. Katelyn Bird won 5 th place, Kyra Azevedo won 4 th place, Madison Keller won 3 rd place, Kennedie Reid won 2 nd place, and Hadlie Miller won 1 st place.
Congrats to Hadlie Miller, who placed 1 st in the 5A Contemporary Solo category in the solo competition. She also was named the 5A Overall Grand Champion soloist and performed her solo at the end of the team competition just before the awards.
The Ellevés will now prepare for their next competition which is Region on January 18 at Maple Mountain.
