Miss Drill Utah Solo Competition

Seven Ellevés competed in the annual Miss Drill Utah Solo Competition on Thursday, October 27 at Mountain Ridge High School.  There were 172 girls from drill teams across the state that were competing in the competition. The girls competed in different dance genres and in their school classification.

The seven Ellevés competing were:  (listed in order of picture from left to right) Cher Jackson, Oaklee Tingey, Hadlie Miller, Lauren Taylor, Kaela Jones, Ellie Asay, and Avery Atkinson. Each of the girls placed in their category.  Cher Jackson placed 3rd in the Teen 5A Lyrical A category; Oaklee Tingey placed 2nd in the 5A Lyrical A category; Hadlie Miller placed 1st in the 5A Contemporary A category; Lauren Taylor placed 2nd in the 5A Contemporary C category; Kaela Jones placed 2nd in the 5A Jazz A category; Ellie Asay placed 3rd in the 5A Contemporary C category; and Avery Atkinson placed 5th in the 5A Contemporary B category.

Congratulations to all seven of these girls for representing Maple Mountain so well!  They will all be competing in future solo competitions that are part of the team competitions the team will be competing in soon.
