The Maple Mountain High School Ellevés competed at the Region 9 Drill Team Competition held at Salem Hills High School on Thursday, January 20, 2022. The Ellevés placed 2nd in the Military category; 2nd in the Dance category, and 2nd in the Show category. Overall, the Ellevés placed 2nd in Region 9.
Three Ellevés placed in the drill down. Camdyn Marker placed 3rd; Rylee Bingham placed 2nd; and Alexis Hill placed 1st.
All five senior members of the Ellevés were named to the Academic All-Region Team for having a 3.75 GPA or higher. Those girls are: Jocelyn Azevedo, Rylee Bingham, Kynslie Lewis, Camdyn Marker, and Cheyenne Ortiz.

The Ellevés would like to thank their parents and fans that were able to come to region and cheer for them. They really appreciate the support! The Ellevés will now compete in the State 5A Semi Finals Drill Team Competition. The competition will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the UCCU Center at UVU. The State 5A Finals will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the UCCU Center at UVU. Good luck Ellevés at State!
