On November 4, our MMHS Marching Band competed at the Bands of America Regional Championships where they took 2nd place in the 3A division, winning the Outstanding General Effect Caption, and for the first time in school history, they made it into finals. They are the first Nebo School District Band to ever achieve this recognition. It is a huge accomplishment in the band world. There were bands competing from 6 different states and only the top 12 scoring bands made finals.
On November 3, our MMHS Marching Band competed at the Utah Red Rocks State Marching Band Championship where they placed 2nd place in the 5A Open (large band) division right behind Green Canyon.
