Rakkel Speers
What is your favorite quote and why?
“Greatness has never been achieved without pain. Embrace the pain.” – Coach Lamont. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I see myself going to college and studying to become a marine biologist. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
I like wrestling, track and field, singing, and drawing. 

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
I was running in the snow at school and I fell; everybody laughed. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
I am outgoing and unique. 

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I like math because it’s fun and easy. 

Adam Syndergaard
What is your favorite quote and why?
“Some things are in our control and others not. Things in out control are opinion, pursuit, desire, aversion, and, in a word, whatever are our own actions.”  – The Enchiridion. I like this because we can control what we do, but not what goes on around us.

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
Serving an LDS mission.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Skiing, Frisbee, playing video games, eating, and sleeping. 

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
I think it is a recurring thing, but when one of my family members comes up with a new weird work out that we can’t do, we try anyway. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
My strange family. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would talk with Abraham Lincoln, and I would ask him if the vampire thing is legit or not. 

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I like physics because I am good at math, and physics is just applied math. 

Robert Reynolds
What is your favorite quote and why?
“Whatever you are, be a good one.” – Abraham Lincoln 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I want to be in college at BYU. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy football, hiking, and mountain biking. 

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
A fish tank fell on me. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
I’m a redhead. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history who would it be and what would you ask them?
I’d talk with George Washington, and I’d ask him about the Revolutionary War.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
It is English because I like to read and write. 

Kayleah Ballard
What is your favorite quote and why?
“Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.” I can be myself and know that no one else is the same, so I don’t need to be like anyone either. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I will be going to college.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I like playing the piano, swimming, reading, skiing, playing with my family and friends. 

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
In 8th grade I had foot surgery, and I had a knee scooter. It was super fun! In the halls though, it got super crowded, and I tipped over. I was so embarrassed! People asked me throughout the day if it was me who fell. I didn’t think it was very funny then. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
I like school and love being with my family. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would want to talk to my great grandma and ask her how she dealt with all the hard things in her life. 

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I really like math this year because my teacher helps me understand it, and I am doing pretty well. 

Kiera Barton
What is your favorite quote and why?
“Decision determine destiny.” I like this quote because it reminds me that your future depends on what choices you are making right now. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I would like to be finishing up college and starting a family. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
I like swimming, graphic design, and just hanging out outside.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
Once I ate cake on the floor of the hallway of a hotel for my friend’s birthday. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
I have 5 brothers and no sisters. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would probably talk to one of my ancestors and ask them to tell me cool stories about their life.

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
I like psychology because I think it’s interesting to learn about how humans think.

Abe Durrant
What is your favorite quote and why?
“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been entrusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordan. I like this because it shows that no matter how successful you will become, you’ll always experience failure and need to overcome it. 

Where do you want to see yourself in five years?
I see myself in college back from my mission. 

What are your favorite hobbies?
I like basketball, snowboarding, and Ping-Pong. 

What makes you different from everyone else?
My personality. 

If you could have a conversation with anyone from history who would it be and what would you ask them?
It would be Abe Lincoln. I’d ask him if he really lived up to his name of Honest Abe and also ask how he became a great leader. 

What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Video production is my favorite class because it isn’t a stressful class and making videos is fun.
